An outfit for a good cause...

Last night I attended a fundraiser for the organization Shunpike, a non-profit that helps "small and mid-sized arts groups better manage the business aspects of art." They do everything from helping theater groups with payroll to assisting individual artists with taxes (tricky when you have 25 W2 forms) to helping performance troupes navigate copyright licensing. It is a great organization, and if you love the arts you should check them out. Read more about them here.

The event last night was great fun! They had 6 or so of their sponsored artists perform. I will be honest, I didn't quite "get" all of the performances- but I did enjoy being exposed to different types of art. My favorite by far was a puppeteer. He had this creepy little marionette puppet that kind of looked like Gollum from Lord of the Rings. The puppeteer was seriously good! And funny- the little puppet did the booty dance!

Anyways, I took my picture of what I wore last night. I think my outfit turned out pretty good.

Dress: Anthro Grand Cru Dress, Small ($60 on sale (try eBay), 2009 )
Tights: Anthro Olive Sweater Tights, S/M ($10; 2008)
Shoes: Anthro Anticipation Heels, 5 1/2 ($168, buy here)
Braclet: Anthro Grand Orleander Cuff ($30; 2010)

And another shot from the back...

And one last shot with my coat...
Coat: Anthro Kirklees Sweater Coat, Small ($148; Buy here)

A great outfit for a great night out for a great cause!
