Today's Anthro Purchase

Today I stopped by one of my local Anthropologies to make some returns. One shirt that was a full size (maybe 2) too big which just would not work and one dress that had sat in my closet unworn for over three weeks. I have a strict rule that if I don't wear something after three weeks I return it. I might rebuy that dress if it makes it to the sale rack in my size.

I also wanted to try Anthro’s Two Paths Trench (here).

This coat is a pretty close replica of a Burberry trench that was featured on the character Robin from How I Met Your Mother. I remember seeing that coat on the show and loving it!

I would have waited for this one to go on sale, but I was in luck! The only 0 they had in stock had a section on the seam that had come apart inside the pocket. An easy $7 trip to my tailor translated to a 40% price adjustment. Sold!

I could not resist adding the scarf and the sunglasses! Too fun.

As I was hanging up my new trench, I remembered an older Banana Republic trench I had purchased 4+ years ago. I have worn this trench exactly once. Somehow I convinced myself I did not like it. I don’t know where I got that idea! This will definitely make its way back into my rotation.
