Just a quick OOTD before I head off to bed. I know, it is so lame going to bed at 10pm on a Friday night. Give me a break though, I had a long first week at a new job and I am tired! Plus I have a long day tomorrow. We are going to Woodinville for wine tasting!

So sorry for the lack of posts… I have been super busy over the last week or so. I left one job, started another, and in between took a mini vacation to San Diego. I know I hinted at summery outfits from my trip, but it actually was not very summery down there. I saw the weather report before I left, but when it comes to sunshine, I am forever the optimist. I did not pack nearly enough warm clothing, and so my super cute outfits never materialized. Instead I lived in my “plane” jeans, t-shirt, and my hoodie. Oh well!


Here is my OOTD from yesterday. The other outfits from this week are repeats (one of the benefits of changing jobs).

Tonight I fly down to San Diego with my boyfriend to visit his sister, her husband, and their new baby! Besides the baby, I am excited to see some sunshine and temps above 60 degrees.


When I get back, hopefully I will have some summery outfits to post. I haven’t packet yet, so I need to get on that.

A Very Big Purchase (and no, it is not from Anthro)

My relationship with my very lovely, but very old (going on 15 years old!) car has come to an end. I knew it was over when a leak in my cooling system required that every few days I pop the hood and add coolant. The car is so old that I knew I did not want to put any more money into fixing him (yes, it is a he).

A change in my financial situation made it possible for me to consider getting a new car. So I went, test drove, bargained (very well, thank you very much!), and I drove away with a 2010 Prius! Normally I don’t move so fast on such big purchases (I must have visited the Apple store 10 times before I caved and bought the iPhone- and that was just $400!), but Toyota was offering some serious incentives to get people to buy/lease, and those incentives ended this weekend.

Anyways, here is a picture with me and my new car on the day I bought it…. And of course I am wearing Anthro.

Happy Monday everyone!

This will be a short week for me at work- Thursday evening I am flying down to San Diego to visit my boyfriend’s sister and her new baby! I am very much looking forward to some relaxation, and tons of sunshine.

Work will be very busy as I try and get everything wrapped up in 4 days. I will try and keep my posts coming.
